2017 Budget Defense: What trade minister, Enelamah told Reps
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, has Mr. Okechukwu Enelamah has shade light on the proposed N20bn export grant contained in the the ministry’s budget.
Mr. Enelamah, while defending the ministry’s budget on Thursday before the House of Representatives Committee on Trade and Investment said the moneys were meant to boost non-oil trade.
“Prominent in this year’s budget is the provision of N20bn for export expansion grant and this will address some of the backlogs and set the stage for going forward,” he said.
“The oil expansion grant is aimed at boosting non-oil export trade”.
