Ali Nuhu: ‘Kannywood King’ emerges 2017 NCC Face of Telcom Consumer

The Nigerian Communication Commission, NCC, On Wednesday unveiled her Face of Telcom Consumer at its 2017 Year of the Tecom Consumer in Abuja.

The ceremony was performed by the cutive Vice Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Umar Danbatta.

The two beautiful faces are popular satirical comedian and radio presenter, Helen Paul and ‘Kannywood King‘, Ali Nuhu.

The two ambassadors are to assist the commission in passing it messages across to Nigerian vice versa.

Speaking after being unveiled, Helen has this to say.

“We will not disappoint NCC. All things will work together for our good to communicate the message out to our people. Well will make sure that the voice of the people is aired though our campaigns for 2017.  I will be proud of NCC and NCC will be proud of us.”

On his part, the King of Kannywood, Nuhu said,”It is a good thing that NCC is looking at the consumers this time around and they are trying to address the issues. I have seen a lot of complains from the consumers on the NCC Facebook page. We are committed to this bond and we will try to see we communicate with the consumer so that they understand the message the commission is trying to pass across to them.

Helen was not allowed to leave the stage without thrilling participants. The comedian was asked to make presentation in her usual satirical manner.

In her presentation, Helen promised to use her platform “Tatafo” to deliver the commission’s messages. She also called on Nigerian to always text “HELP to 2442 and she would be right there to provide assistance. This she said in her usual babyish voice.

As part of NCC 8-point agenda launched in early 2017, the commission has organised the 2017 year of the consumer to inform consumers how committed they are in the protection of their rights.
