What Atiku wants Nigerians to do about Buhari’s WAEC certificate

The Deputy Director of Contact and Mobilzation for Atiku Campaign Organization, Oladimeji Fabiyi, has indulged Nigerians to critically analyze the circumstances surrounding the President’s newly acquired certificate. He raised his concerns  on 2 November, 2018, in Abuja.

He enumerated the trail of events and evidence suggesting that the president did not write the exam in 1961 nor finish secondary school. He explained that this has been a reoccurring issue since 2015.

“This same certificate came on board in 2015. One of those who came up to defend the president then was late Coomassie (Ibrahim) the later IGP. I remember he said he went to school with him but he never said Mr President completed that secondary school.”

“Then a result sheet came later on from Kastina. I know for a fact that some people went ahead to WAEC headquarters in Ghana to confirm the authenticity of that and when they got there WAEC said they don’t have record of him in their database.”

“So for WAEC to now come out to say he has a certificate; well, I think Nigerians should query further.”

Recall on November 2, 2018, WAEC presented an attestation and confirmation of Result to President Muhammadu Buhari. However, this many believe leaves many questions than answers to the certificate controversy
