Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu’s sacked lawyer tags action ‘inelegant behaviour from a long hand’
A Federal High Court in Abuja today January 29, 2016 has denied the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu bail.
The Biafra crusader who was arrested by the SSS as he returned to Nigeria, has been in detention since October as he is charged with treason.
Mr. Kanu earlier in a letter to the Federal High Court in Abuja, asked that his lead counsel be replaced. The letter quotes Kanu as saying the person who represented him in previous sittings was different from the person he had instructed.
