Chibok: Kidnapped Dorcas Yakubu’s mother calls out Human Rights Commission
Esther Yakubu, the mother of Dorcas Yakubu, one of the kidnapped Chibok Girls called out Human Rights Commission for talking about Boko Haram and the swift rescue of the girls who were kidnapped in Lagos while Chibok Girls are still in captivity after two years.
She made this known at the press conference commemorating the international day of missing persons at the national Human Rights Commission Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday.
Mrs. Yakubu asked why focus is on Boko Haram members and those who were killed during attacks while the Chibok Girls are wasting away in captivity.
Shortly after Boko Haram released a video showing the abducted Chibok Girls on August 14, Mrs. Yakubu was able to identify her daughter, Dorcas who now goes by the name Maida Yakubu in the video
