CISLAC trains Journalists on prevention of Corruption

The Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre(CISLAC) in conjunction with Transparency International (TI) and State of the Union(SOTU) trained journalists and Civil Society Organization (CSOs) on the prevention of corruption.

The mass media and Civil Society Organizations from across Nigeria have pledged to work together with the government to ensure implementation of a system of appropriate measures to help detect and eliminate the causes and conditions of corruption as well as deterrence of persons from the commission of crimes of corruption.

This resolution was made during a two day organized Capacity Building Workshop which focused on Advocacy for implementation of the African Union Convention for Preventing and Combating Corruption, AUCPCC organized by the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre(CISLAC) in conjunction with Transparency International (TI) and State of the Union(SOTU) Coalition.
