FEC ends 21 years neglect of Fire Service in Nigeria, allocates N4.6billion for equipment
The Federal Executive Council, FEC, has approved the closure of Abuja airport for of six weeks.
The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, told state house correspondents after the FEC meeting that the decision to shut the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja was approved by the council so the runway could be repaired.
The Minister also revealed that the council approved N1 billion for the conclusion of the Kaduna Airport terminal, which is to be used as an alternative for the Abuja airport.
