Federal Character Act: Reps seek special court to try violators
The House of Representatives has moved to amend the Federal Character 2004 Act Cap F7. The amendment is to provide for the establishment of the Federal Character Tribunal, FCT to prosecute violator of the laws.
The Motion for the amendment was moved by Hon. Orker-Jev Emmanuel (APC, Buruku-Benue state).
The Bill if amended will provide equitable representation of all the local government in the countries.
