Olisa Metuh, a former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), arrived at the federal high court, Abuja, in an ambulance on Monday.

Mr Metuh’s lawyer Onyeachi Ikpeazu had, previously, informed the court presided by Justice Okon Abang that his client was at the Nnamdi Azikiwe specialist hospital for treatment of spinal cord complications.
Counsel to EFCC had also asked the court to revoke the bail granted to Mr Metuh saying that his absence from court was intentional only to stall court proceedings.

Justice Abang on the previous adjourned date, ordered Metuh to show up in court or risk going back to prison.
However, on seeing the spokesperson in court on a stretcher on Monday morning, the judge adjourned the matter till March 15.
“I have seen the condition that the first defendant is. Seeing the condition, I am inclined to adjourn this matter to allow the first defendant attend his trial”.

Metuh is standing trial over allegations of receiving N400 million from Sambo Dasuki, a former national security adviser, and also money laundering charges involving $2 billion.
