Herdsmen killings: Bishop Nicholas Okoh joins Catholic church to challenge Buhari

Catholic church across Nigeria has protested killings by herdsmen and other attacks on soft targets in the country by assailants.

Addressing members of the church at the National Christian Centre Abuja on Tuesday May 22, Primate, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Bishop Nicholas Okoh, said the crises is ‘psychological war’ against a target group in the nation.

He was one of the leaders of non-Catholic denominations that joined the Catholic church at the Abuja protest.

The protest, which held simultaneously across the country, sought to call the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government to stop wanton killings across the country, especially in Christian-dominated North-Central of the nation.

There were over 10,000 participants at the Abuja protest which took off at the National Christian Centre enroute Area Three area of the city.
