House of Reps reject Ministry of Power 2020 budget performance report
The House of Representatives Committee on Power has rejected the 2020 budget performance presented by the minister of power, Mamman Sale, citing it as unacceptable for many reasons.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Power, Hon. Magaji Aliyu, rejected it at the 2021 budget defence session which held at the National Assembly.
He stated that the budget report had to be redesigned to include details of contracts the Ministry awarded, and to whom the contract were awarded to.
He said “there is no column for contract sum and there is no column for who are the contractors.” We hereby reject the report, it is not accepted, it has to be redesigned so that it can at least make meaning.
