Interior Minister commiserates with family of Nigeria’s former IGP, Sunday Adewusi
Nigeria’s Interior Minister, LT Gen (RTD) Abdurahman Bello Dambazau CFR PHD has expressed sadness over the demise of former Inspector General of police, IGP Sunday Adewusi.
While commiserating with the bereaved family, the Nigeria police, the good people of Oyo state and the nation at large.
The Interior minister remarked that the late Asiwaju of Ogbomoso who became IGP in his early forties, used his prime years to serve our beloved country with great sense of commitment and dedication, Gen Danbazau further noted that the late elder statesman whose wealth of experience has continued to shape the police and the country’s security, passed-on at a time the nation’s Internal security architecture is being retooled and needful of people of invaluable experience. The Minister concluded that the Ministry will continue to cherish memories of his laudable contributions.
He prayed for the repose of his soul and that the Almighty God grants his beloved family the inner strength to bear the loss.
