Biafra: Kanu Nnamdi’s sister lead court protest
Scores of placards carrying protesters led by the younger sister to the self-acclaimed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Princess Kanu on Tuesday stormed the court premises demanding the freedom of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Some of the placards read: “Free Nnamdi Kanu, Free IPOB, Free Biafra”, “Truth is treason in an empire of lies”.
This was before commencement of the secret trial of Kanu, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi who are standing trial for treasonable felony and terrorism at the federal high court, Abuja.
