Breaking: Community shuts down Chevron’s flow station

The Chevron Otunana flow station in Kokodiagbene community, Warri South West local government area, Delta state has been shut down by Indigenes of the community.

They stormed the station in the early hours of this morning in protest to their standard of living despite being oil-rich.

The indigenes demanded that electricity should be extended from the flow station to the community, portable drinking water, hospital should also be provided.

It is gathered that Nigeria will lose about 3,600 barrels of crude oil daily as a result of the shutdown.
