Sequel to the total absence of Dr Joy Yimebe Nunieh, Rivers State representative, NDDC Board, at the various screening exercise of the Senate Committee on Niger Delta, the Senate has rejected her confirmation as a result of her total absence and lack of concern to communicate to the committee on reasons for her unavailability.
Her rejection was confirmed on the floor of the Senate as the legislators resolved to screen the nominees presented by President Muhammad Buhari.
