Dambazau said that Sumaila was not involved in the House of Representatives primary election of the APC in the Federal Constituency.
The Federal High Court, sitting in Kano on April 18, disqualified Sumaila as the duly elected Member of the House of Representatives on the platform of the APC in February 23, 2019, general elections.
Court ordered INEC to acknowledge Dambazau as the elected House of Representatives member, representing Sumaila/Takai federal constituency.
INEC National Commissioner, Amina Zakari issuing the certificate on Monday, said the certificate was issued based on the order of the court.
“INEC is a law abiding organization and respects the rule of law, hence the issuance of the certificate to Alhaji Muhammed Shamsuddeen,” said Amina Zakari.
