Wole Soyinka’s encounter with a Nigerian over window seat on plane

CEO Sahara Group, Tony Patrick Cole, has recounted how a Nigerian asked Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, to excuse him from his window seat on the plane.

Wole Soyinka is Nigerian Playwright, poet and essayist. He is a well-respected, popular Nigerian known across the globe. He has received many awards, including a Nobel Prize in Literature.
According to Cole, the Nobel Laureate had taken the assigned seat of the young man on the plane.
On his arrival, he asked the professor to stand up from his seat which he did quietly for his original aisled seat next to him.
