Nigeria to spend N993 million on simulator house in Zaria
The Nigerian government on Wednesday June 27 said it aimed to make Zaria College of Aviation Technology best among its kind worldwide.
Briefing State House Correspondent after the weekly Federal Executive Council Meeting, Minister of State for Aviation, Haji Sirika, said: “Council approved the building of house for simulator that has already been procured. N993 million, he said, was approved for the purpose.
He said the presence of the simulator in the college is very significant.
“Very recently, Zaria became the centre of excellence by International Civil Aviation Organization, ICAO. It is part of our efforts to upgrade Zaria and make it the only training institution in the world.”
He said couple of weeks ago, the Council approved over four billion naira to put fire simulator in the college. “So, the wind of change is blowing in Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria,” he stated.
