10 of the aspirants for Nigeria’s presidency in 2019 election have  presented their manifestoes.
The aspirants addressed Nigerians on Tuesday May 8th in Abuja at an  “Emerging Political and Economic Leaders’ Summit.”
The event was organized by former President, National Youth Council of  Nigeria, Mr Wale Ajani.
The aspirants are Mr Ahmed Buhari; Asuquo Mendel; Prof. Kingsley  Moghalu; Princess Funmilayo Davies; Sen. Yusuf Baba-Ahmed.
Others are Alistar Soyode; Adamu Garba; Ayodele Favour; and Malam  Yinusa Tanko.
Guest speaker at the summit and fiery speaker, Pastor Tunde Bakare,  chronicled the woes that had befallen the nation since independence  and called for a transformational president who would unite the nation  and put it on the path of prosperity.
Bakare, who was represented by former Minister of Education and  Convener of the Bring Back Our Girl group, Mrs Oby Ezekwesili, said it  was time the nation moved for its redemption by voting for good  leaders at the 2019 polls.
In her own remark titled “Breaking the Economic and Political Status  Quo,” Ezekwesili said the present status quo where crops of recycled  leaders have been in government for half a century must be “disrupted.”
She also advised the aspirants to work together and form a consensus  to “rescue” the nation from its current state.
