Oby Ezekwesili officially flags off presidential campaign

Presidential candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Dr Obiageli Ezekwesili, also known as Oby Ezekwesili has promised to elevate over 80 million Nigerians out of poverty if she is elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Oby” as she is fondly called, made this statement during the flag off her #HOPE2019 campaign with her running mate,  Abdulganiyu Galadima, in Karu, Abuja.

The one time Minister of Education, Oby assured Nigerians that adequate resources would be appropriated to the education sector, stating that “Education will be the new oil in Nigeria”.

She also promised to train 900,000 youth in skill acquisition to make them less dependent on government jobs and enable them to fend for themselves.

The agricultural sector was not left unaddressed, as Oby assured that “farms will begin to work well”.

“In my government, citizens would matter most, not politicians. I would put laughter on the faces of Nigerians” she said.

After delivering her speech at the event center, Oby proceeded to the popular Karu market dressed in a native attire and canvas shoes with a large crowd all around her.

Chants of “SAY MAMA” filled the air as she warmly greeted by excited traders at the market
