Certificate saga: Absence of prosecutor’s stalls Adeleke’s trial
The trial of Senator Ademola Adeleke was held back on Tuesday due to the absence of the prosecution counsel, Simon Lough.
The senator representing Osun-west senatorial district and four others were arraigned by the Nigerian Police Force on October 31, 2018.
They were accused of allegedly committing examination malpractices by fraudulently, through personation, registering Adeleke and another Sikiru Adeleke, as students of Ojo-Aro Community Grammar School, in Ojo-Aro in Osun State, for the National Examination Council’s June/July 2017 Senior School Certificate Examination in February 2017.
