Rep. Dada dumps APC over disagreement between Oshiomhmole, governors

The All Progressive Congress, APC, on Tuesday, lost four more members to the Peoples Democratic Party and Labour party and the African Democratic Congress. Hon. Abiodun Awoleye-Dada representing North federal constituency moved to Accord party.

Hon. Lawali Hassan-Anka, representing Anka/Mafara federal constituency of Zamfara state defected to the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) while Hon. Hon. Samuel Segun-Williams representing Abeokuta South moved to the Labour Party (LP) Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina Representing Ibadan North- East/South- East defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC)

The last is yet to be heard on the defection plaguing the different political parties ahead of the 2019 general election.

Letter of their defection was read by Speaker of the House of Representatives at the resumption of plenary after recess.

Hon. Muhammed Soba, who resigned from the APC in October, had recently disclosed that 36 aggrieved APC members in the House were set to dump it for other parties.

This is coming less than three weeks when three other members; Emmanuel Yisa -Jev, Olatoye Temitope Akinlaja Joseph dumped the party.

Recall that shortly before the House commenced its 2018 annual recess in July, about 37 members from the ruling APC defected to other parties.
