Deputy Senate President, Omo-Agege reveals he never had the privilege of knowing late Senator Ignatius Longjan. He made this known at the Valedictory session which started with a recognition of the Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Sonni Tyoden, the Deputy Speaker Ahmad Wase, Family and Friends. Longjan was highly spoken of by members of the House. Omo-Agege admonished The Longjan’s to hold on to the fact their father rose as a star to be reckoned with. It’s truly a rare privilege. Recall Senator Ignatius Longjan died on the 10th February, 2020 at Turkish Hospital Abuja. Until his demise, he was Vice Chairman Senate Committee of Culture and Tourism and Foreign Affairs. At 75, Longjan has left lots of legacies behind which he will be remembered for. The Valedictory session ends with a word prayer committing members of the house.
