House of Representatives have  commenced debate on the 2016 budget submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari. The  Leader of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila while opening the debate, urged House members to facilitate the speedy passage of the budget. The House had earlier promised to enact the 2016 appropriation Act in record time.
